We are a close-knit family team who are proud to be locally owned and operated, servicing New Plymouth and Taranaki. We are equipped and qualified to carry out any necessary service, maintenance and repairs on all heat pumps, air conditioning systems and refrigeration throughout Taranaki.
James Hobson
Owner / Operator
James has been in the industry for 20 years and has been providing heating and cooling solutions to the New Plymouth region for over 14 years. With his wealth of experience, he provides you with excellent service and the right solutions.
Being the founder of Action Engineering Services, his goal is to build systems with a personal and tailored approach for your needs.
James is a busy family man who is passionate about the outdoors and loves the marine environment. In his spare time he enjoys surfing, fishing, cycling and all the things Taranaki with his partner and two kids.
Brett Hobson
Owner / Operator
Brett has worked in the refrigeration Industry for 20 years and joined Action Engineering Services in 2018. He very much enjoys providing his quality service in the New Plymouth and the wider Taranaki region.
Brett is intricately involved in the company and its operations, and is a specialist in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
Brett is also a busy family man, who loves the great outdoors, hunting and exploring the marine environment in Taranaki and further afield with his wife and sons.
